Oh brother. That is a ridiculous listing. It should be at the RnRHoF or some other place hosting culturally and historically relevant stuff if it's as verifiable as the ad says.

I have loved the GD and Jerry for 35 years but why would anybody in their right mind spend $50,000 on this amplifier? It's not really an amp that you would use much - or at all at that price? The person listing it bought it for $50,000 and "now it's time to sell it." Clearly, that "investment" of $50,000 is going to yield no profit at a $50,000 listing, so I ask again, why buy this? If somebody would buy it just for the love and nostalgia of owning an amp that Jerry used in 1970, then you must have a LOT Of money. If that is the case, again, I ask, why is this person selling this amplifier?
